| "6 years,
6 ft Under the Influence" is the MURDERDOLLS frontman's highly anticipated
new offering - FDQ's fifth - the last four having been released between
1996 and 2002. Having been on hold for the last couple of years while
enjoying worldwide success with the MURDERDOLLS, Wednesday is pleased to
be bringing the FDQ live experience to the UK March 2004. When asked what
fans can expect, he says:
"A
lot of questions have been coming in, asking what I will be doing at these shows.
I will not be modelling clothing, I will not be doing stand up comedy, unless
you consider the music I've made in the past comedy, and no other members of the
MURDERDOLLS will be performing with me. I will, however, be playing songs
from the entire FRANKENSTEIN DRAG QUEENS history, and promoting the new
FDQ release "6 years, 6 ft Under the Influence". This
album contains re-recordings and revisions of songs from all 4 albums, as well
as a few never-heard-before tracks. I have the Florida-based graverockers Death
Becomes You as my backing band. These guys are a bunch of gruesome ghouls
and these shows are sure to be a visual hand-grenade of horror.
I will be playing a lot of material from this upcoming release,
as well as a few surprises. If the fans are expecting the MURDERDOLLS they
can think again. This is a whole different show all together. The differences
are many, one that I am playing guitar live, which is something I've never done
with MURDERDOLLS. Two, the MURDERDOLLS image is way more glam and
this is full on horror.... blood, guts and gore. Simply put, "the MURDERDOLLS
are pretty, and we are pretty ugly." I'm really looking forward
to the tour because the fans in the UK are amazing. They have treated me great
and I can't wait to play these shows and give them something else to go home and
tell their parents about and scare them to death. I will also be promoting
my new merchandise line, "The Thirteen Dead Kids", on this tour,
which will available in stores worldwide in March. "The Thirteen Dead
Kids" are sure to appeal to MURDERDOLLS / FDQ fans, as well as
anyone with a good, fun, sick sense of humour. To all the people of the UK...'Beware
and take S-care...Halloween is coming early this year'."
